How to buy $WAG on Raydium: A Step by Step Guide
For those who are new to Solana, read on! Else, you can skip this section.
Step 1: Create a Solana (SPL) Wallet
Before you start trading on Solana on-chain applications, you’ll need a Solana Program Library (SPL) wallet and SOL for funding fee transactions. We recommend using Phantom or Sollet for a smooth trading experience
Step 2: Buy SOL (Solana)
Make sure you have SOL to complete any transactions on Solana chain. Good news, say goodbye to high gas on Solana! One SOL can probably last you for a lifetime of trading transactions. There are various exchanges that you can buy Solana ($SOL) from, including Binance, Coinbase, FTX, and Huobi.
Step 3: Deposit $SOL to your SPL Wallet
After setting up your SPL Wallet in Step 1, you can now deposit SOL to it. We’re using Phantom wallet for this tutorial.
Open Phantom ▶️ Click “Receive” ▶️ Search for Solana ▶️ Copy SOL address
You should see the following view on Phantom.
Now you can get back to Binance/FTX/Huobi/etc., paste your copied SOL address and withdraw SOL from the exchange to your Phantom wallet. Repeat the steps with USDC to deposit USDC for trading. You can also withdraw SOL and buy WAG with SOL, but it will require an additional step.
Step 4: Buy $WAG on Raydium
On Raydium, we are launching WAG-USDC pairing, so make sure you have SOL (for gas) and USDC (for trade).
Connect wallet ▶️ Select SOL ▶️ Select USDC ▶️ Input the amount of WAG to purchase ▶️ Click ‘Swap’ ▶️ Approve the transaction in Phantom
If you have decided to buy WAG with SOL, you will need to swap your SOL for USDC first. After you have swapped your SOL for USDC, you can return to Raydium swap and select WAG from the drop-down menu to purchase WAG.
Missed Out on our Solanium IDO Whitelist?
While we have set aside 600,000 WAG tokens for IDO on Solanium, there is also another 400,000 tokens allocated for our Startup Sales on gate.io before our trading goes live on Raydium and gate.io.

Between 02:00AM-12:00PM UTC on October 8th, 2021, participate in gate.io’s Startup Sale for Waggle Network here: https://www.gateio.ch/en/startup/210
Place orders from 02:00AM-12:00PM(UTC), October 8th, 2021 to purchase WAG tokens. The maximum subscription limit for a single user is 1000 shares. Please ensure that there is sufficient balance (exceeding the purchase value) in your gate.io account for the purchase after placing the orders. An insufficient balance will result in the cancellation of the purchase order. You can only purchase once with each KYC account.
After 12:00PM (UTC), gate.io will collect all the qualified orders and distribute the tokens according to the ratio of the individual purchase orders to the purchase orders in total. Trading of WAG tokens on gate.io will start at October 8th 02:00 PM (UTC).
